JSON resources

I’m increasingly seeing references to JSON. I’m intrigued by the number of sources stating its superiority to XML. Here are my first three resources for absorption:

  • Introducing JSON doesn’t have much in and of itself but contains oodles of links to billions of other resources.
  • JSON: What It Is, How It Works, & How to Use It by Jason Lengstorf looks really yummy. Looks like a good, in-depth overview and tutorial with resources and such. Also mentions AJAX which I’ve been dying to investigate.
  • The JSON Tutorial (April 7, 2015) from w3resource looks at least as good, if not better. w3resource.com claims 300+ JavaScript tutorials.
